However, as reported by SportMediaset through the journalist Paolo Bargiggia, Milan and Genoa have reached an agreement over the 21-year-old ‘keeper who recently rejected a move to Bayern Munich (didn’t want to be a second-choice according to his agent). It’s reported the price is €10m and Cristian Zapata or M’Baye Niang could be included in the deal.

AC Milan are moving for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United target Jackson Martinez as they prepare to let Mario Balotelli join Liverpool.
Indeed, Balotelli has reportedly told teammates this is his last day at the club and a £17.5m fee is all-but agreed.

Milan are said to have offered Porto £3.2m for an initial loan move that would be made into a permanent deal worth a further £17.6m over three years.

That offer falls substantially short of the player's £24m release clause and it is believed that Porto are not ready to accept Milan's opening bid.

AC Milan’s initial attempt to secure a replacement for Liverpool-bound Mario Balotelli was not encouraging after Portuguese side Porto declared that they will not sell Colombian forward Jackson Martinez.

The Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani and Porto’s president Pinto da Costa met to discuss the 27-year-old on the afternoon of August 22 but the Dragoes boss made it clear that they have no intention of letting Martinez leave for San Siro.

“Jackson Martinez is unsellable: We will not sell the attacker,” said da Costa according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
